France: “death to the diesel!’

Diesel cars are the driving equivalent of babyzeehondknuppelaars with ebola and ISIS membership.

At least, this is how it looks in France today against the zelfontbranders. The government Hollande announced in 2014 is to diesel cars to tyres, something that now is put into practice.

France is a dieselland par excellence, where the fuel countless advantages, resulting in a share of about 80 percent. Jup, 8 on the ten voitures there is a zelfstoker. Alarming reports about particulate matter and nitrogen oxides – powered by dieselgate – have ensured that this accelerated change. The excise duty on diesel goes up in 2016 with 1 cent up, followed by another 1 cent in 2017. At the same time, gasoline two times 1 penny cheaper. Additionally, a CO2 tax of 2 cents.

Small interventions, large effects, because within five years must make up the difference with gasoline lifted.

Why France en masse at the dieselwagon is blown out? The FD explains:
