Volkswagen is always looking for ways to earn more money and even more cars to sell. That first can, for example, by the production costs down. How? By becoming more efficient to cope with the available components. VW starts with the Golf and the Polo, but it would not surprise us if other brands and models follow.

Financial director Hans Dieter Poetsch explained during a presentation, for example, that the new Polo is less different engines and gearbox variations, while the Golf must be on (yes) the interior lighting. Volkswagen seems to be quite a few different lights to use.
