Those Soviets sure knew how to get a big fat can-everything-transport-carrier builds.

The MAZ-7907 was the late ’70 built in belarus, when the Cold War the world is still in a firm grip held. The 12-truck is 30 metres long, 4.8 metres wide, and not wrong to except 4.5 metres high. For the drive both a gas turbine engine from a tank (à 1.250 hp) as a diesel engine with 330 hp.

So much power is needed, because the mass of the vehicle itself came from a solid 65.800 kg. Add to that the cargo capacity of 150 tons, and you will come to a total of more than 200 tons. The MAZ-7907 had a spot on this list earned.

The 24 ” wheels, of which there are 16, are each two meters high, and dams the colossus to a maximum speed of 25 km/h. With that pace is the thing in the deepest secret of the factory to Minsk driven and then to Bajkonoer in Kazakhstan. What then exactly happened, unfortunately, is shrouded in mystery.

In the early ’80s, there are still a few copies of built, which especially came in handy due to their capacity to 100 ton RT-23 “Molodets”-rockets to transport. This later 7907’s seem to wait on the restoration, and then a well-deserved rustplekje in the museum of MAZ.
