- Fuel and maintenance costs.
- The machine is known as a fairly hassle-free, but change oil and filters, preferably every 30,000 km to keep it that way.
- The V10 is a good tune, but please pay attention to who has done it. The standard power is 580 hp and roughly 700 hp to get by only to chiptunen. By mounting sportkatalysatoren, a different exhaust and sportluchtfilters can 760 hp are feasible. With bigger turbo’s is 850 hp in the picture, but there are always parties which will be even more horsepower out of the block claim. The V10 can reasonably well.
- Oil leakage at the rear of the block, the gasket between the block and gearbox. Is to check under the car to look and the plate under the motor to catch up. The V10 should look like to the gasket to replace it and the cost is therefore considerably on.
- Leakage or clogging of the hose to the windscreen washer rear (Avant). Can the MMI navigatieunit/audio amplifier leak and cause serious problems.
- Needle fuel gauge remains at the bottom after filling.
- Electric parking brake that doesn’t want to solve.
- Navigation can cause a failure to give “please check navigation DVD A. U. B.” which may indicate a worn laseroog of the DVD player.
- The optional air suspension can leak hit. The car will then be skewed from hanging after a while, parked it to have been.
- Ceramic brakes: in theory, they go a autoleven (300,000 km), in practice, not always. They are pretty expensive to replace, so be sure to check the state good if you have a RS6 look at where they are attached.
