Opel Karl
Opel launches, as announced, a new compact five-door city car with its 1.0 Ecotec the battle in the A-segment. This is the Karl.

With the departure of Chevrolet from Europe mist parent company, General Motors, is a car that at the price can compete in the A-segment. This is now taken care of by the Karl, a budget model that is named after the son of Opel founder Adam. The extent to which the model is a Opelficering of the Chevrolet Spark is we don’t know, but it seems to us that the engineers all by yourself a completely new car have developed.

The Karl comes in first on the market with only a 75 hp variant of the 1.0 Ecotec three-cylinder, and with 3,68 metres in length, roughly the size of a Corsa from the ’80s. He comes available with options such as Hill Start Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and a stadmodus in which the steering becomes lighter.

Opel’s smallest comes in the summer of 2015 on the market, on the production site (Eisenach, Zaragoza or Korea), seems still to be squabbling.

Update: the construction is going to take place in Korea, and the introduction will take place in march, at the Geneva motor show.
