The educational authorities want to intervene, because if the children do not quickly learn German, they will cause irreparable backwardness in education. The paid tutoring are a stick behind the door for parents to be home more to the German language. It is totally unacceptable that children are halfway through primary school, not good German, said Walter Berger of the public education.
