Nissans V6 twin-turbo (405 hp) is perfect for the new ‘Z’

A blown modern 3.0 V6 in a lightweight sporty chassis: with this recipe you have the potential for a more than worthy 370Z-successor in the hands.
The Nissan group of companies presents a new 3.0-litre V6 engine with two turbochargers, which in the facelifted Infiniti Q50. Well can absolutely no one that Infiniti cares, but the new VR engine, and its possible applications. The block is more than 14 kg lighter than the outgoing (from 3.7 liters) V6 and will come with 300 or 400 hp and, respectively, 400 and 475 Nm. To the European market only for now the strongest variant.
The engine itself weighs 194,8 kg, including turbo and intercooler is the weight on 220,6 kg, what is still to manage in the nose of a sporty model.
