Those who thought that the F015 is a one-off exercise was wrong. Mercedes also puts in Tokyo hard on autonomous driving.
Mercedes grabs the 44th edition of the Tokyo Motor Show to show that we are in the distant future, in a completely moronic people movers go for a drive. Or wait: our autonomous láten drive. The Mercedes Vision Tokyo drive yourself. Of course, not aangdreven by a pagan plofmotor, but by a fuel cell with a range of 790 km, supplemented with a further 190 km range from the batteries.
The 4.8 metres long and 2.1 metres wide, Vision, Tokyo has one seat in the front, complemented with and corner sofa in the back for all passengers. Aimed at Generation Z (born after 1995) who are in cars loves nothing more than are holograms.
More photos of this ridiculous zelfrijbusje (sliding!) in the gallery. A video of Mercedes on his allerhipst from the corner is trying to come on Autojunk.
