Engines
Under the hood, again, few surprises, or it must be the G-tron version. A quick glance at the tables would you be able to learn that none of the engine variants make do, the performance is fine. Later, there is still a 122 hp TDI, for the real ECO-knights without hurry. No petrol-V6

On the 3.0 TDI with 272 hp is quattro as standard, as well as an eight speed tiptronic automatic transmission. When the other engines is the seven-speed S-tronic dual-clutch available, the continuously variable Multitronic has (rightfully) to abandon the field.
Since the majority of the in the Netherlands (and Belgium) – selling A4’s with front wheel drive will have to go do, went we on a path in the 190 hp TDI with S-tronic gearbox. Just like the Audi TT (VW Passat) of the A4 also comes with Audi Virtual Cockpit. The old-fashioned counters are then replaced by a 12.3” LCD monitor. To ensure that the virtual counters smoothly be projected, the motor speed is 60 times per second is calculated. It looks fantastic, the only downside could be that the driver is what is drowned in the many options and information that the Virtual Cockpit can offer.
What is brilliant is the touch-controller where you can write. After voice control is the fastest way to enter something and the MMI system now knows another trick which makes it tastier. Beginning with the writing and the navi offers direct options which can be chosen, so no more heilloos search or the Avenue of the Continents was or the Street of the Continents. Also the music is so searching, it all works so fine that you’re wondering why this is not already much longer by default.
Conclusion and prices
From a mille or 35, there is a new A4 for the door, but that amount can by thicker engines, the choice for an automatic transmission or quattro, of course, substantially increase. Also, the options list is long and now offers all the safety and comfort features you would expect in a modern car. With Audi active lane assist and adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go traffic just a little less annoying. Other novelties are the parkeerassistentie, cross traffic assist, uitstapwaarschuwing, collision avoidance assist and the afslagassistent that you are watching or you have no oncoming traffic. Xenon headlights is also standard, but a little patser goes for LED’s, if only because you than that horny signs.
However, it is especially the handling and the comfort that the A4 a worthy opponent of the 3-series, C-class, XE, V60 and. Movie!
