Beautiful weather for a new load of oil on the fire, niewaar?

After the news regarding the TFSI engines of VAG went the lol-comments like wildfire, but what happens? VAG builds won’t be as the only engines that have a drop of oil to the passions. Of the fact that we have this news in 2015 still have to put drops our (short) pants, but which brands score only?

Consumer Reports did research on the oil consumption of almost 500,000 cars. The worst performing brands are *drum roll* Audi (2.0 TFSI, 3.0 V6), BMW (4.8 V8 and twinturbo 4.4 V8) and Subaru (3.6 six-cylinder engine and 2.0 and 2.5 viercilinders). Or the VAG-jokes in the comments also immediately thing of the past? That’s up to you, but the pro-VAG-ers now have in each case a response.

According to Subaru, it is quite normal that the owners are every 2,000 km a litre of oil to top up. BMW and Audi go one step further and find a litre per 1.100 km reasonable. Da’s kind of like shoe soles that after every 12 walks must be replaced. Or laptop that after three sessions of World of Warcraft hard work, a new battery is needed.

The worst scoring cars are you checking in the overview below, user reviews and highly original jokes, you share in the comments. Surprise us!
