Caught! BMW 1 Series sedan testing in China

For the few who still thought the Concept Compact Sedan just a proefballonnetje was: you’re wrong.

BMW is working behind the scenes for some time to a 1 Series Sedan, but still had to wait until the introductory concept went live before the the test models on the road could send. That is, the first four-door 1 Series with ass in China is spotted, it is not surprising, therefore, that country is an important market for the model. Europe remains in the lower autosegmenten more of a hatchback – and stationmarkt.

The model that was spotted by Autohome came out doesn’t look entry-level model, the uitlaatjes on both sides suggest that here an equivalent of the 225i Active tour Bus ride, with a healthy 2.0 four-cylinder engine with 231 horsepower under the hood. Anyway, you see the normal mirror, normal rims, and a normal grille, you’ll also know how the production model will look like. As a small 3 Series indeed.

So to see the car, so BMW is expected to not wait too long with the unveiling of the production version.
