Whut Whuuut?
Bejaardenfittie!

Everyone has an opinion about the recent dieselschandaal, so even Bob Lutz. The seasoned 83-year-old GM veteran, Tesla criticaster, and the final boss is in a column in Road & Track nuts on that other senior car icon on the other side of the Pond, Ferdinand Piëch (78).

According to the itself not infallible Lutz (here on the archive view with mattie 50 Cent) has the despotic leidingsstijl of Piëch within the VW-group, a culture created in the old Prussians, would not look out of place. The born Swiss Lutz avoider useful ‘Befehl ist befehl’-sayings and any other possible allusions to ’40-’45, but speaks about a “reign of terror … where performance was driven by fear and intimidation.”

You would almost think Lutz at VW has worked and all of close to has experienced.

Anyway, now the naming & shaming with a big out expletives is done is the scandal, of course, not solved, but it reads really well, as a piece, and many Americans will now prefer the three-headed hellhound Cerberus (not to be confused with the investment firm that Chrysler kaalplukte) against the run than Ferdinand Piëch. While it’s not such a onplezante man can be, he has a dozen children. Literally.

Big winner in all of this: the Rabobank. That is, for a change not the regenboogpiet situations.
