Word of the year: who invented ” sjoemelsoftware’?

What vluchtelingencrisis or beefgebied? Sjoemeldiesels held in the Netherlands in the ban, but who started using that word?

Windows 8 has been around for over 3 years, but the sjoemelsoftware of Volkswagen gets it within 1.5 month for each other to the Society of Our Language (GOT) the term to prefer to the word of the year. It is an almost childish contraction, sjoemel and software, but a catchier and clearer word seems to be there in a month and a half that Dieselgate now is not found. Something earlier on that day, The Volkskrant, in an article already extensively about sjoemeldiesels, which I personally also have just a little fun word find.
