Jag XJ met Amerikaanse muscle
An English lord with a stiff upper lip even with what American bralpepers in his ass. Sacrilege or brilliant?

By default, this XJ6 Series 1 from the ’71 comes with a 4.2-litre six-cylinder. The current owner has the original block out spooned, to a 5.7 litre V8 from GM in the first place. According to spotter teerdz, which the owner said that the block is equal to the powerhouses that have been uncovered in older Camaro’s and Corvette’s.

It was, you’ve probably noticed, the engine is not the only thing that has changed on this Jag. All the chrome stuff is gone. The bumpers are gone, the holes in the body where ever the bumpersteunen through stakes are welded and the front grille is replaced with a chicken wire-like model. Here and there, some primer on the body suggests that it is a work in progress.

The XJ6 is a favorite hobbydingetje. You can also fine a bookcase. Or a Russian GAZ M21 Volga, of course.

I’m a bit conflicted. On the one hand, it is sin for a classic Jag to half a hotrod to tinker. On the other hand, I do not want azijnpisser hang out. The thing looks pretty cool, while it’s not even finished. I would like to see drive. A classic Jaguar with the sound of a muscle. Nice contrast.
