In the past, when the guilder was still of wood, of birds is still up poepten and car manufacturers women used to get their cars to sell. Those were the days.

When I earlier this week about the Fiat Abarth 2000 Scorpione wrote I came across bizarre photos of girls in knitted dresses. In the most bizarre poses, in addition to, or in the car, sat down, and stood up. Especially in the years ’60 and ’70 made car manufacturers are keen to use women to their cars and this was a nice example of this. Can you imagine a car maker today, a photo would be use prominent woman in the picture, whose not wearing a bra supported nipples right through her white shirt to go shine? No marketing professional that that even in his head would pick up. Incidentally, had Triumph around the TR7 more pictures which are now no longer conceivable in car-ads (click for large).
