Porsche Cayenne
In advertisements you often with a sharp starting price to the dealer lured. Once there you learn that the wheels and the handlebar is just standard; for the rest must pay. How many additional gadgets you have on your car?

A survey of British consumers shows that Porsche drivers most of the euro’s smashing on the list of options, an average of 8.700 euro. A Cayenne is even for 11.800 euro filled, and is therefore the most expensive decorated car. But also other premium brands have enthusiastic vinkjeszetters. BMW stands at two, with 4,600 euros. With 9.400 euro X5 drivers are the most generous. In third place is Mercedes. 4.100 euro is, on average, to the starting price added. The SLK is the thickest dressed. The Top 5 is closed off by MINI and Audi, respectively, for 3.500 euro and 2.800 euro euro of options.

Of course, is a Brit not a Dutchman, but it gives a nice idea of what we smashing on options. On a car it will be a couple of thousand euros on a luxury business car some more. Each person is obviously different. A car enthusiast swears maybe, with leather and 19-inch wheels, while the average woman would prefer to go for navigation.

When buying a car is sifting through the list of options is often quite a chore. It is the art within your budget a good consideration to make. But where do you go for? Choose a thick engine and few options? Or do you go for a fully loaded version with a step-dieseltje?

Those who agree with the online configurator, for example Audi or BMW to play, know that the price of a premium cake easily over the head. An Audi A1 for 40.000 euro or a BMW 3 series that is in the direction of the 70.000 euro creeps is no exception. Are those cars really clean, equipped, or do we want our delusions in full luxury?

It differs a little per brand and how much you ‘free of charge‘ idea. Where you among the French are generally a very nice standard equipment, with the Germans often outrageous bare. A leather steering wheel, wheels or cruise control? On a VW Golf it is not standard. But also an Audi A4 with hubcaps is no exception. Do you want more than you can quite ignore them.

We prefer a low starting price or a better equipment? And for which options have you chosen? We are curious about, post it in the comments.

UPDATE: Reader mahansz spotted this price list at a Porsche dealer. The standard 184.999 euro-dollar Panamera with options in the showroom for 280.488 euro. Almost a ton of extras!
