On so many PCs detected ransomware in 2015.
“Kaspersky lab” began to sum up 2015 in cyber security. According to experts, the past year has shown cutting the increase in the prevalence of ransomware programs.
So, for 2015 these threats were detected on computers 753 684 unique users. As a result, within 12 months, the number attacked by such malware users has increased 1,7 times. Russia fell in the first three countries, it is on the third place after Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
There has also been growth in the prevalence of ransomware for Android devices. In 2015, 17% of attacks had ransomware on Android, while the first malware was discovered in 2014. Also in 2015, was first found extortionist under Linux.
