Marlboro Motor Raceway
Unfortunately, not a hidden gem somewhere on the Veluwe, but an old circuit in the United States. Via Craigslist is the lease offered.

If you’re in the fortunate financial position to the circuit for 1000 to 1250 dollars per acre (4000 square metres) lease, do not think that you get a phone call with Bernie can commit. The circuit has been around since 1969 and is a lot less well-preserved than, for example, Reims-Gueux.

According to Bring A Trailer is going to be Marlboro Motor Raceway, opened in 1952 and, 17 years later, already closed again. On the photos in the Craigslist ad, we see a neglected piece of land, but the contours of the track are still clearly visible. A lot of hours hoeing and you can probably turn laps.

The circuit in the state of Maryland (here on Google Maps), that also by the local police is used for training, was probably closed because it was unsafe. Who the circuit again in old glory to be restored, so will be with grindbakken and tyre stacks in the back. BaT reports that the circuit was previously on sale has stood for 9.8 million dollars, so who does not want to lease, comes with a big bag of money also somewhere. Beautiful old film footage of the circuit in his heyday, including the old Porsche’s, Abarth’s, Triumph’s and Austin Healey’s, you can find on circuitjunk.
