Beeld van de nabije toekomst?
The car sales last year, stuck on 387.835 pieces. Once again, a historical low.

Despite a good slotmaand was 2014, together with 2009 – the worst year in terms of sales since 1969. The total number over the entire year does not come further than 387.835 pieces, which is quite a bit more than in 2009 (387.699 new cars). Officially 2014 so the one of the worst autoverkoopjaar in 45 years ‘ time. In 1969 was the counter on 349.588 new cars. The netherlands is by the way out of the show in Europe; in most countries the car sales understand.

In 2011 this was still more than 555.000 pieces, in 2012 it went to 502.496 pieces and in 2013 reached the sales level of 417.036 pieces.

For next year, the same number as this year is forecast. Crisis.

Month of December
While a ‘normal’ month of December in our country is good for just about ten thousand new cars were in the just ended month of December, preferably 36.424 new cars listed. This is evident from an analysis of kennisbureau AUMACON on the basis of figures of RDC/inMotiv.

Volkswagen wins again
For the eleventh time is Volkswagen the best-selling brand of the Netherlands (42.693 units, market share of 11.0%), a koppossitie that they in 2003 after 36(!) year of Opel took over. The Volkswagen Golf was again the best-selling model (check the entire top 10 HERE). On the second place Peugeot (36.940 pieces, a 9.5% market share) and in the third place, we see Renault (30.510 pieces, with 7.9% market share).

The sales of new vans ended with a slight increase: 51.774 pieces, compared to 50.556 pieces in 2013.
