This electric Zagato-cookie jar got 100 hp

The Zagato Zele is an EV from the ’70s with a whopping 2.5 hp and a weight of 300 kg. Ugly and light, just like this instance, but here was the ability of a non-soft upgrade to 100 roaring hengstenkrachten.
What do you think of Zagato, you think of double bubble-goodness. Thick BMW’s, even thicker, Aston Martins, that sort of thing. But just as Pininfarina also have questionable designs (hi, Hyundai Matrix!) it is not all gold that shines as the Zagato’s creations arrive.
In 1974 saw the Zele light, a high electric tweezittertje with 8 times less power than the Fiat Panda Elettra, who 16 years later on the market, and that is already a car outside of the city, virtually unusable. Ideal for a ombouwproject so, something like that.
Some grapjurken names the driveline of a Suzuki GSX-R 600 (that’s a quick throw-and-carry-moped), and ramden this in a Zele. Weighs still nothing, but revvt now by up to 18,000 rpm. Guaranteed fun so. Who something want to try, the project can buy, he is eBaai (videos on this account). But perhaps it is more realistic to own a Zele on the head tapping, a convenient mechanic at best, and this project is hard to copy.
Or you going all out, and pops a Busablok in. Or the Kawasaki H2R. A lot of power in a tall narrow thing without crumple zones, what may well go wrong?
Anyway, you catch my drift: weird grandma-gabakjes + thick engine equals fun. Free tip of the Smoke, try this Dutch gentleman even to reach, that can make things.
PS: Zagato released this decade, yet the spiritual successor of the Zele, in the form of this Volpe.
