Peugeot 308 BLueHDi
Perhaps the leaseverrassing of 2014, this Peugeot 308 BlueHDi and also one of the few compact and medium cars that also in 2015 14% additional tax liability. Fortunately there is still choice.

Last year there was a lot to choose from in the compact and middle class, also if you per se 14% wanted to add. Audi had the A3, Seat, and Skoda had the Leon and Octavia, even as a hatchback and station wagon in the offer, just like Peugeot with the 08 by the way. At Volkswagen, you could shop around for the Golf, Volvo made a good ornamental with a 190pk-strong V40.

Almost all that cars emit too much out to in 2015 are still to qualify for 14% addition. Only the Peugeot 308 holds, albeit only as a hatchback. Direct competitors are not, but we also dare to look beyond the usual suspects has really still what to choose. We convert the 308 compared to the Citroën C4 Cactus and the Lexus CT 200h.

Prices
Peugeot offers the 308 BlueHDi from 22.900 euro, at concerngenoot Citroën, you can 20.690 euro driving off in the C4 Cactus. Although this quirky Citroën suggests to be descendants of the C4, the car is in fact based on the smaller C3. At Lexus, you’re at least 27.990 euro lost for the CT 200h, which is the Japanese alternative for a more luxurious 308.

More interesting than the purchase prices are, of course, the leasetarieven. We look at Leaseplan, then you are on the basis of a contract of 36 months, a minimum of 469 euros per month lost for a Peugeot 308 BlueHDi. For the Citroen C4 Cactus BlueHDi rates start at 399 euros per month, while the Lexus CT200h at 507 euros p/m. That are differences that in the case of the Lexus and the Peugeot 308 best large. It is different when you’re the richly equipped 308 Blue Lease Executive compares with the Lexus CT 200h Business line, the monthly amounts are respectively 525 and 556 euros.

Engines
Where Citroën and Peugeot diesel engines in the C4 Cactus and the 308 scoop up, choose Lexus for a petrol engine linked to this hybrid type spark plug. With a combined capacity of 136 horsepower, the Lexus is the strongest of the trio, the 308 has 120pk, the same block in the C4 Cactus delivers 100hp. The performance to outrun each other on paper not so very much, so the Peugeot is the fastest in the sprint from 0 to 100, 9.7 seconds, but continue to Lexus (10,3) and Peugeot (10,7) not far behind. The top speed of the 308 is 196 km/h), the C4 Cactus is doing 184 km/h while the CT 200h the worst of delft with 180 km/h. The C4 Cactus is helped by the relatively low unladen weight of 1070kg, although the Peugeot with 1160kg certainly not a heavyweight. A bigger carriage and a battery pack contributes to the 1345kg of the CT200h.

Space
Not insignificant in this segment is the space. The Lexus is 4,35 metres, the longest of the three, but the cargo area does with 375 litres to 420 litres of the ten centimeters shorter Peugeot. In the C4 Cactus allows you to 358 litres is lost, that is 1170 litres with the banks flat. In the Lexus you can a maximum of 985 litres verstouwen while the Peugeot with 1228 litre is the undisputed winner. In terms of interieurruimte to outrun the three together, not so much due to almost identical variants.
