Lamborghini Huracán LP 580-2 with RWD: not for noobs

Less driven wheels, (slightly) less power, less emissions and less euro’s that you get at the dealer must leave. Less is meerrrrr!

It was anything but a surprise. Not only did predecessor Gallardo is already a purely rear-wheel drive version, also in favor of the persistent rumors about the arrival of the LP 580-2 for a while in the air. As with the Gallardo choose Lamborghini the Huracán with only RWD on anything less power than the LP 610-4. Went in the past 10 hp, now delivers the block in the rear-wheel drive version even 30 hp less. Not that the decor is with 580 hp on the wide achtersloffen. More than enough to get your panties in seven different shades to do with colours.

Lamborghini lets the Huracán LP 580-2 look a bit more distinguished from the LP 610-4 than the case for its predecessor was. Especially the redesigned front bumper gives the Huracán a completely different face. The nose looks a little longer and -unfortunately – also a little less aggressive. Also on the back changes, but these are less decisive for the appearance than the changes at the front.

Although the LP 580-2 something lighter than the LP610-4, 33 pounds to be exact, is the performance potential is just slightly lower. That you have to sprint to the 100-0.2 seconds longer needed 3.4 seconds in total, is given the lesser grip is no surprise. Of the 5 miles per hour slower top speed va of 320 km/h you will also not lie awake. The good news is that the car has less emissions and therefore less will be taxed. Add that to the fact that Lamborghini this LP580-2 already a bit cheaper in the market and the best Huracán is also the most fun. Dutch prices we have not, but with 178.500 euro is the LP 580-2 in Germany less than 23.205 euros cheaper than the recently bijgepunte LP610-4.
