The reincarnation of the Fiat 500 in 2007, is an absolute sales hit. Also as a second hand car is the 500 are very popular. And with the reincarnation of the 500 also had the Abarth badge is of course return.

Issues

• Faults in the electronic system will be sporadic.
• The ignition key is sometimes not recognized. When you purchase a used car should have a card with pin code present in the car. It is a time-consuming procedure, but in common cases it is possible that the PIN-code again ‘to learn’.
• Another euveltje is the power supply of the fuse box that sometimes fails. The car will not start and recognize, for example, the remote control is also not.
• The Blue&Me system from Microsoft is still being obstructive, especially in the early versions in combination with Apple devices. So check the good or the car will communicate with your phone, this can later frustration prevent. More recent versions of Blue&Me suffer less of this kind of problems. • Leaking air conditioning (it drips on the harness and allows for expensive failures).
• Lighting breakdown.
• The Dualogic semi-auto mode will not switch if there is leakage and low on oil. That may be the roadside assistance or topping-up, but the leakage must restore in the garage to happen. It also happens that the semi-automatic does not want to turn off by electronic interference, re-starting the car fixes this usually.
• The 1.4 MultiAir that for the Abarth used also for other cars in the Fiat group used and is known to have issues with the MultiAir module. Although there is not much wrong seems to be going specifically with Abarths, is it something to alert on.
