Soviet Russia was not exactly known for its tasty cars, but this piece of homework, there should certainly essentially. Get acquainted with the Babich Leningrad.
Arkady Dmitrievich Babich did no less than three years to allow the car to build and it will come as no surprise that, unfortunately, there is only one instance of exists. In 1956 he finished and as I said was the end result of all that hard work worth it. Stronger still; with his sexy hips and prominent front had the Babich may still best the competition can offer to its American counterpart, or the Corvette C1.
Under the bulbous hood is a 3.5 liter GAZ-12 engine with 90 horsepower, which allows the trolley to be nice vooruitkwam. The author drove from Simferopol to Leningrad (nowadays St.-Petersburg) in 20 hours, and, giving a distance of 2125 miles. Pretty neat, if you consider that the roads that he defied very probably not of the best quality.
Unfortunately is the Leningrad like this photo you can see today it is not in the best condition, but it is good to see that this beautiful car still exists. A restoration will be given its one-off status, however, a spicy job…
