You might not expect it, but Charlie Hebdo-cartoonist Georges Wolinski liked that stuff.

It is very tragic what happened in Paris has played. Wolin and his colleagues were two days ago shot to death by two terrorists. We will be the political side of the story for what it is, because we are the site for. Fortunately, as you would certainly in weeks like this thinking.

We can Wolinski on no better way to honor than with the show of ‘his’ Porsche 911 (993) GT2. Elf Haberthur Racing put this scheurijzer in 1998, during the 24 hours of Le Mans, and let ‘m pre-equipped with a by Wolinski designed livery. It was a livery like only the Frenchman ‘m may design: challenging, but always humorous.

Also Le Mans organizer Automobile Club de l’ouest honored the cartoonists of Charlie Hebdo with a statement about the Porsche of Wolin.

In its own daring and provocative way, Charlie Hebdo also contributed to the history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 1998, Georges Wolinski, one of the 12 victims of the attack at the paper’s offices yesterday, created an Art Car: the No. 68 Porsche 911 GT2, driven by Hervé Poulain, Jean-Luc Maury-Laribière and Eric Graham. They finished in 20th place.
