Because yes, the Rockingham GT is indeed coming to the Netherlands. With a special edition, it is always a matter of waiting to see whether the Dutch importer sees the potential to bring such a model to our country. Now the Dutch are quite fans of a brand like MINI and that's why we also get this funny Rockingham GT.
This MINI is a nod to the 1275 GT. A 1970s racer who was very successful at Rockingham Motor Speedway in England during the British Touring Car Championship. The British car manufacturer likes to look back on that success of 50 years ago with the arrival of this special model based on the MINI 3- and 5-door, Convertible, Clubman and Countryman.
Basically, the brand takes the Cooper S as its motorization. You can recognize the model with a number of unique elements. Every Rockingham GT comes with JCW Aerodynamics package, an adaptive chassis, 17-inch JCW Track Spoke rims and special Rockingham details. The color White Silver is standard on this version. Other colors are optionally available. You also have black GT bonnet strips on the hood and striping on the side. For the inside, Piano Black interior panels, sports seats in Carbon Black and an anthracite headliner have been chosen.

Prices as of January 2022 for the MINI Rockingham GT start at €43,000 in the case of the Cooper S 3-door. And the 5-door starts at €44,000. The convertible starts at €48,000, the Clubman is available from €48,900 and then there is the Countryman from €51,100.
