Samsung has patented several designs of frameless smartphones. According to experts, one of these options can be considered the first “official” picture of flagship smartphone Galaxy S10.
Most of the images in the patent demonstrates the different form factors of screen Infinity-O compact with a round neckline in the top left corner of the display. This screen can be both flat and rounded on the sides or top and bottom. Also the corners of the smartphone may be in varying degrees rounded or not rounded at all.
However there are several versions with the more familiar cuts, leaving more space for placement of sensors and cameras.
Recall, Samsung introduced a new Infinity displays presented at the conference for developers SDC 2018. Displays Infinity-Infinity, and U-V have a small teardrop-shaped cutouts and V-shaped. Infinity-O cutout even smaller, in fact, this point is a hole in the screen under the front camera. The latter is expected next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S10. Display New Infinity — fully frameless and without cutouts. Camera and sensors have to be hidden under the display and “appear” as needed.
The most probable time of the official debut of the Samsung Galaxy S10 to the MWC 2019, which will be held in Barcelona from 25 to 28 February.
