Samsung introduced the first smartphone with four back-facing cameras

The company Samsung Electronics introduced a smartphone Galaxy A9 with four major cameras. As promised, with this smartphone, you can create pictures of any complexity: from selfies to panoramas.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution+ (2220 x 1080 pixels), fingerprint scanner on the rear panel and a 24-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The rear camera includes the following modules:

  • The main camera is 24 MP with an aperture of F1.7
  • 10 Megapixel with an aperture of F2.4, for double optical zoom
  • 8 MP F2.4 ultrawide angle functions on the basis of artificial intelligence technology
  • 5 MP for depth measurement, including the configuration of background blur

The hardware basis was the OCTA-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 660, 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory expandable with cards of the format microSD up to 512 GB. The battery has a capacity of 3800 mAh.

Supports LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 5.0, ANT+, NFC, geolocation (GPS, GLONASS). There is a port USB Type-C. Dimensions are 77 x 162.5 x 7.8 mm and weighs 183 grams.

In Russia, Galaxy A9 will be available in three colors with gradient of black, blue and pink at a recommended retail price of 39990 rubles. From 11 October to 15 November 2018 when placing a pre-order and full payment, the buyer receives a gift card MicroSD 128 GB. Sales will start on 16 November 2018.
