Users of mobile Apple devices began to complain of sudden battery drain after upgrading to iOS 11.4. Recall, this update was released in late may and brought the long-awaited AirPlay support 2, as well as Messages in iCloud.

On the official Apple forum has several branches of discussion. One of them nearly a thousand users confirmed its existence on their devices.
Judging by the reviews, the battery level is low, regardless of the model iPhone. In some cases it helps to disable the connect to the Wi-Fi networks, and in other — toggle Wi-Fi with 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz. But other users, such “tricks” do not work. As a result, many fell back to iOS 11.3.1 and battery again began to miss the usual time.
Apple itself has not yet commented on the situation. The solution is expected in the next iOS updates.
