Diagnosis of many life-threatening conditions are often hampered by the fact that their definition of required is not always easy to perform manipulation. However, a group of American researchers proposed a method of diagnosis of cancer by a blood test. Moreover, the new method can indicate pathology with an accuracy of 98%.
American scientists from the medical school at Johns Hopkins University as a “starting point” used the traditional DNA, however, according to the editors of the journal Science, DNA analysis was complemented by a technology of determining protein markers. In a test CancerSEEK, with which, using only a blood sample of the patient, can identify the presence of the 8 most common forms of cancer, including: stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer, liver cancer, esophageal cancer and breast cancer.
During a series of clinical studies the method proved its effectiveness and use it to test more than 1,000 subjects was detected markers of oncological diseases from 1 to 3 stages. And, remarkably, a test is done faster than “traditional” methods of cancer diagnosis, and special equipment and not required.
