Russia, in 1905. The Czar reigned, not knowing that he is 13 years later by the communists from the throne would be, of a dashcam had never heard of, and motorized transport was something that only the absolute elite could afford.

This elite had once met at an event organised to make their cars even quite of jetje. Also present: men with goggles on a kind of prehistoric Solexes, audience, and a photographer to the images to capture. Photoarchive.spb.ru digitized these old pictures, and gives us a glimpse into the Russia at the beginning of the 20th century, full of rich people and nice warm furs. Nice. (via)
