You can argue about taste but the man has a lot of nice cars.
The above ex-Elton John Aston Martin V8 is soon to be auctioned off and so we had to think of the other beautiful cars that the singer in his life has had.
Reginald Kenneth Dwight, better known as sir Elton John is perhaps not the first person that you think of when you talk about ‘impeccable taste’. The British singer rocks, usually colourful outfits with similarly variegated sunglasses. We also have him, despite his success, never actually with a really gorgeous woman at his side is seen…
But ok, moving on. Of nice metal on wheels has Elton, judging by the cars that he owned, but cheese eaten. In his young life, before the ‘fame and fortune’, rolled the singer-to-be with normal cars like the Ford Popular (his first car), an Austin Somerset, a Singer Chamois, and a Ford Escort GT. When he successfully began to gain, suggested to Elton’s manager for him to to to buy a new car. That was finally an Aston Martin that formerly belonged to fellow musician Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees. According to Elton, it was the start of his autoliefde:
“I’ve been collecting Astons ever since. Then I got my first Bentley and once you’ve had cars like that and you’ve seen the experience of work and the beauty of them, you don’t really want anything else.”
Thus there were still many beautiful cars after this first Aston. Although we have no sluitendende administration of all the cars over the years, for example, there is a message about an auction of Christie’s in 2001.
