My friend, A/N, always wanted to act like a vampire when she was in middle school. So I am writing this article for those who would want to take on the role of paying a vampire.

Steps
Part 1
Get into character
-
1
You should probably start ‘Transforming’ into a Vampire after like Spring Break or just over a weekend. That way it’s more believable that you were actually bitten. -
2
Search famous Vampires, and figure out how you are going to act. Then decide what type of Vampire you are. You can be a cute and preppy Vampire or a Gothic punk rocker Vampire. -
3
Start to act like a Vampire at your house. Start to breathe slower, since Vampires don’t breathe. When you blink, try to blink about 5 seconds apart. -
4
Get into the Vampire ‘Eating’ habits. Eat a bigger breakfast, that way you don’t have to eat in front of anyone. Try to eat more meat, unless you are acting like a vegetarian Vampire. Then start to eat more red fruits and vegetables. -
5
Practice running. Vampires are quick non-human creatures. To be fast like a Vampire, you need to practice running. -
6
Dress normally. Try not to change the way you look. People will notice that and might make fun of you. You should try darker eye makeup and red lipstick.
Part 2
Playing the part
-
1
Use big words. If you meet someone new say: ‘I’m delighted to have you as an acquaintance.’ or if your friends asks you what you are doing this weekend say: ‘Probably nourish my endeared pet.’ -
2
Carry around a non-translucent waterbottle or Thermos. You can keep a drink in there, like an energy drink so your ‘Blood’ drink actually boosts your energy. Or you can just use water and act all better after you drink it. -
3
When people fall, or bleed, run off all paranoid. If they ask you why you ran off, say you have Hemophobia, the fear of blood. -
4
Use cat-like reflexes. Vampires are quick. If a pencil is falling off your desk, quickly grab it as it falls. DON’T be a Zombie and just let it fall. -
5
Start to act all jumpy, and freakish. Constantly be checking your back.
