MWC 2016: SanDisk has introduced a USB flash drive with support for USB Type-C

At MWC 2016, which takes place in Barcelona from 22 to 25 February 2016, the company introduced SanDisk flash drive SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C USB is designed to transfer files between the new smartphones, tablets, and laptops with USB Type-C.

SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C with a retractable connector has a capacity of up to 128GB and delivers read speeds up to 150MB/s using USB 3.1. According to the manufacturer, this is the fastest, high-capacity storage with USB Type-C.

SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C is compatible with SanDisk Memory Zone app for Android, available for free download in the Google Play store. The application starts automatically when the drive is connected to the mobile device.

SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C in versions with 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB has a five year warranty and is offered at a suggested retail price of $19,99, $29,99, $49.99 and $79,99, respectively.
