North Korea plans to launch a satellite this month

North Korea has announced plans to launch a space satellite in February of this year. Despite the weak economy and diplomatic isolation, it will not be the first satellite launch for the Korean people’s Democratic Republic.

North Korean scientists have already reported about the successful rocket launch in 2012; however, in space the first satellite of the country was for long and soon fell back to Earth. A new satellite launching soon after the test of the hydrogen bomb to show the world the technological development of North Korea and almost certainly cause fears that Kim Jong UN appeared a means of delivery of nuclear weapons.

Scientific space programmes often covered the development of combat missiles, and North Korea is hardly the only country involved in such. So the news was met with suspicion by neighboring countries are: Japan, for example, the start routine to deploy a missile defence system in the suburbs of Tokyo.
