The story begins with the Swede Svenharry Åkesson. Except an epic name, this gentleman has a lot of knowledge of cars. Already in 1960 he built a Formula 3 racer to your own design, and in the years that follow develops Svenharry is a respected builder of small formula cars.

The emergence of the Falcon

In 1993 Svenharry Åkesson a phone call from an advertising agency. Brewer Falcon is looking for a real eye-catcher, they would like a unique supercar for promotional purposes. The deal is made: Svenharry cross his own time in the project, Falcon runs for the materials and after a year the car is property of the designer.

Svenharry go to work enthusiastically, but while he was many hours into the project stops, remains the money of the brewery. Project Sethera Falcon seems like an early death to die. Until one day, Christian von Koenigsegg on the phone. He has on the internet the necessary read about the qualities of Svenharry and would like that made for him a sports car design. An appointment in the workshop of Åkesson is quickly made.

He was immediately enthusiastic, calling his dad and together they decide Svenharry the financial resources to give to the Falcon to develop. Not as a Falcon, incidentally, but as the Koenigsegg CC. This prototype word in 1998 and is already clearly identifiable as a Koenigsegg.

A 4.2 V8 that Audi made for the drive, firmly encased in a steel tubular frame. The production models from 2001, the band rolled on, have a carbon monocoque, but nevertheless has this Sethera Falcon undeniably been at the brink of the Koenigseggs as we know it now. Cheers!
