Japanese police have equipped drones networks

Bad guy with a drone can only be stopped by a good guy with a drone. That’s considered the Japanese police adopting the hexacopters equipped with special nets for catching drones. A special “unit to combat drones” will use a new technology for catching suspect drones and their delivery in a safe place.

It may sound like a silly joke, but it’s a harsh fact of life. For example, in April of this year, Japanese police found a drone with radioactive materials on the roof of the Prime Minister of the country.

Police use a model of the DJI Spreading Wings S900 with a large network size two on three metres, attached to the bottom of the hexacopter. When the police finds in the air the drone-the offender, the police drone takes off in pursuit, and then brings prey right into the hands of the police. This is a very elegant solution, and in February of the following year ten such drones will be applied at the most important government facilities.

Wait a minute, the network (Net) in the sky (Sky) is called… SkyNet?!
