Old diesels and older petrol cars in ban.

Not only Amsterdam and Utrecht do diesels and petrol cars from a certain age in the ban, also Rotterdam is slowly saying goodbye to taking the duivelsjus-verbandende cars. Roads reports that the municipality of Rotterdam as from april 1, 2015 permits more grants to owners of old, polluting cars.

How old & polluting cars? Not quite as old. Because the scheme covers passenger cars and vans on diesel older than 1 January 2005. In short: anything with a Euro IV standard or lower. Also benzinebolides originate the dance. Do you drive a petrol car with a Euro I (in other words: everything that happened before 1 July 1992), the municipality soon no permits be for you. Existing permits remain otherwise valid.
