Nissan’s innovative rearview mirror and thought, which is a combination of a traditional mirror and a screen that is linked to a camera.

Modern cars are increasingly equipped with all sorts of cameras, and Nissan is the first manufacturer that has these two things completely combines. As a director you can choose whether the rear view mirror, want to use it as a regular rear-view mirror or as a LCD screen. That screen is then linked to a special camera on the rear of the car is mounted.

This Smart Rearview Mirror will ensure that you as the driver no longer suffer from blind corners or thick C-pillars. Thanks to the camera on the back, you have a much better picture of what’s around your car. If you have no sense in all of those modern things than you can with a simple press of a button switch to a normal mirror.

Nissan is planning to make this mirror next year worldwide to launch. Later this year the system will already be launched in Japan.
