Next year may increase the prices of mobile and wired Internet, the majority of Russian Internet operators. About this informed the newspaper “Vedomosti”, citing a survey of resource Telecom Daily among the hundreds of managers of ISPs operating in major cities of Russia.
The survey was conducted among mobile operators, and large and small Internet service providers. 52% of surveyed managers do not doubt the price increase of 10% in 2019. 29% warned of a rise in price by more than 10%.
Only 11% of respondents reported no plans to raise prices and 8% did not rule out possible reduction of tariffs.
The rise in mobile and wired Internet connection is associated with the in force law of the Spring and a VAT increase which will come into force on 1 January 2019.
