At an event in new York Apple unveiled new generation MacBook Air. The laptop is the first in the series will have a Retina display, a refreshed design and new hardware platform.
13.3-inch display has a slim frame, the laptop itself is 17% smaller. The thickness is 15.6 mm, which is 10% less compared to the predecessor.
The laptop is equipped with Intel Core i5 processor, the eighth generation, up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1.5 TB of SSD storage. The claimed battery life is 12 hours of Internet browsing and up to 13 hours video playback in iTunes.
The laptop has a built in fingerprint scanner Touch ID. The touchpad was 20% more. Of the ports there are two USB Type-C (Thunderbolt).
Sales will begin November 7, 2018 at a price of 1199 U.S. dollars. Pre-orders have started to adopt in Russia at a price of 104 990 rubles.
