Microsoft will soon cease to provide technical support on the Microsoft Community forums (Microsoft Community) for users of the operating systems Windows 7 and 8, as well as some other issues. It is stated in the official note on the forum.
From July 2018, Microsoft will cease to answer questions and to engage in such activities. Technical support on the forums will lose the following products: Windows 7, 8.1 and 8.1 RT, Microsoft Security Essentials, Internet Explorer 10, Office 2010 and 2013, Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2, Surface RT and Surface 2, Microsoft Band, Microsoft mobile devices and the Zune player.
While Microsoft promised to continue to moderate the forums to keep them safe and positive environment for users. Microsoft also advised the community members to continue to use the forums and answer each other’s questions.
