Maduro gets Colombian channels from air

BOGOTA –

The government-Maduro in Venezuela, news coverage curtailed. The controversial left-wing regime decided the Colombian radio and tv stations Caracol and RCN from the air. Thursday morning went to the channels for all major cable networks in the capital Caracas on black.

Caracol-director Juan Roberto Vargas said that the news of the last years of president Nicolás Maduro and the closure of the Venezuelan borders have played an important role in this decision. The flight of the fired prosecutor general Luisa Ortega via Aruba to Colombia, gave the final push. Vargas called it absurd that Venezuela thinks that his station was aware of the plans of the apostate Ortega.

The Colombian president Juan Manuel Santos sees this persbreidel as a new blow to the hard to ignore democracy in the neighbouring country. ,,Again an example of a rule that nothing should have of freedom. It occurs as a dictatorship”.
