Google Allo taught to convert selfies into stickers

Google has begun distributing another update for its messenger Google Allo. The main highlight of the update is the ability to create a personalized set of stickers based on your own selfie of the user.

To implement this feature, Google used machine learning and neural networks, which mark out the facial features on a photo and transform them into a cartoon character. A special animated editor, allowing you to further customize the resulting stickers. When developing Google team collaborated with the artist Lamar Abrams (Lamar Abrams). The update has already started to spread to Allo Google Android, and the iOS version is promised “soon.”

Recall, the messenger Allo became available in September 2016. It is not a replacement for Hangouts, as a standalone application, more like Facebook Messenger. Allo Google uses machine learning and a new voice assistant Google Assistant.
