Yandex developers released a new version of the mobile application Yandex.Transport for devices running operating systems iOS and Android. The main innovation was the alarm function.
At the entrance to the right stop, the app will alert the passenger that it is time to leave, Push notification and audible alarm. This is useful for unfamiliar routes, and just for fans to read on the road or listen to music. Notifications work in the background.
In addition, the app now has a personal Cabinet with a collection of awards. You can get them for various achievements, for example for using the app after midnight, or, on the contrary, early in the morning.
The alarm doesn’t work in Yandex.Transportation on Android, in the iOS app it will appear in the coming days. Yandex.Transport for Android and iOS available for free download in Google Play and App Store.
