At the MWC 2017, which takes place in Barcelona from 27 February to 2 March, the Chinese company TCL has unveiled a budget smartphone Alcatel A3 and U5.
Alcatel A3 is equipped with a 5.2-inch display with HD resolution (720 x 1280 pixels), fingerprint scanner on the rear panel 13-megapixel main and 5 megapixel front cameras. The hardware is based on chetyrehjadernyj MT6737 MediaTek processor, 1.5 GB and 16 GB of internal flash memory expandable with microSD cards. The battery has a capacity of 2460 mAh.
Alcatel U5 equipped with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 845 pixels, 5-megapixel primary and 2 megapixel front cameras. The hardware is based on chetyrehjadernyj MT6737M MediaTek processor, 1 GB and 8 GB of internal flash memory expandable with microSD cards. The battery has a capacity of 2050 mAh.
Smartphones support dual SIM, LTE Cat. 4, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and FM radio. Work is performed under the operating system Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Indicative prices have not yet been released. However, the manufacturer positions Alcatel A3 as the most affordable smartphone c-HD display, and Alcatel U5 — as the most affordable smartphone with 4G.
