Logitec from Japan has shown a new model of disc drive connected via USB 3.0. The novelty has received the name LHD-2BRH and can accommodate up to 8 TB of information. Stylish drive weighs almost 2 pounds, has dimensions of 80 x 145 x 171 mm. Top cover removable device — through it is possible access directly to the winchesters. There are versions with capacity of 2 TB, 4 TB, 6 TB and, finally, 8 TB. Discs can be series WD Blue or WD Red. This is important because the type of hard drives depends on the warranty period. WD Blue — 1 year, WD Red is 3 years. The choice seems obvious.
LHD-2BRH equipped with a cooling system (fan), has a hole for a Kensington Lock and is able to “fill up” with PC connected to external power supply voltage of 12 volts. In addition, the delivery set includes proprietary software Logitec Logitec Eraser and Mirroring Tool.
