Jaguar Mark II Restomod
Because a faint and prehistoric achtcilindertje now once two cylinders more than a Le Mans-winning six-in-line.

In the 90s, you could not without Jaguar Mark II, it’s a restomod with air conditioning and power steering. The market for one of the most beautiful British classics is the last years, however, substantially collapsed, and not surprisingly, are the original copies that are in demand. Pity for those who are Jag twenty years back for a barrel or more has renovated.

On the Marketplace is now such a restomod, including modern air conditioning and newer Jaguar seats, but interestingly, also with a 3,9-litre V8. Now is a V8 in a Mark II is not so strange, Daimler sold its version at the time, only with a 2.5-liter V8. When Jaguar itself had only the choice of a 2.4, 3.4 and a 3.8-litre six-in-line. These XK6 engine dates from the machines that the C-Type and D-Type as first over the finish came in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and was between 1949 and 1992 in various other street-legal car, including so this Mark II.

That said, this Jag is a lot more suitable for daily use than an original copy and a lot more fun than yet another silver leasemobiel. In addition, the conversion is a bit tastier than the Mark II, where designer Ian Callum recently on uitleefde. Interested? Just offer on Marktplaats (mirror).
