Designers create modern interpretation of the Renault Fuego

An independent design agency has a Renault what inspiration given for the building of a spiritual successor to the Renault Fuego.
The team of the Italian design studio Idecore found that it was time for Renault to say something spannenders on the market than the Clio’s, Megane’s, Scenic’s and Espaces from now. They wanted the brand happy to help and designed a coupe that is the successor of the Fuego would have to be.
The first Renault Fuego was produced between 1980 and 1986. It was a refreshing car with modern technology and a sporty touch. A car for those who the other Renault but dull found. Exactly with that approach is now also the Fuego II designed.
The virtual design is inspired by the avant-garde past of Renault, complemented with a solid look in the future. Especially on the quarter is the striking BMW i8, all of that doesn’t have to be critical.
The car is according to its designers designed it, not at all aggressive. All the lines are flowing and that should be just as its predecessor for a very low cw-value. The roof consists almost entirely of glass.
The car features four doors in the opposite direction of each other to open. The interior is characterized by its simplicity. A large touchscreen and digital tellerwerk is what catches the eye. Under the hood would be according to the designers, a 160-hp 1.6 twinturbo diesel, which is supported by an electric motor of 95 hp. That would be on paper for 255 hp.
We are curious, or Renault, with Italian designers in the sea. Paste there is a slightly less i8-like rear, and the brand has a nice sportcoupé.
