Range Rover Evoque 2014
That the Range Rover Evoque is the first car in the world would be with the new negentraps automatic transmission from ZF, we already knew, but how great the fuel economy would be we knew not yet.

According to Land Rover, this new transmission with nine instead of six gears for that use, depending on the implementation, dropping by 11.4% to 9.5%. That decline is not entirely due to the new automatic transmission, because the new Active Driveline system allows for additional savings. This system enables the four-wheel drive at speeds above 35 km/h and then only taking action when necessary.

The 9HP gearbox from ZF is 7.5 pounds lighter than the 6-speed automatic that ZF previously built and despite the three extra ratios is the bake only 6 millimeters longer. According to ZF, is the ultra-short response time below the threshold of human perception. This tank also comes in the new Jeep Cherokee and probably many more models of Fiat-Chrysler. Also the new MINI and model year BMW’s would this tank get.

Did you know that Land Rover in just 18 months of 170,000 units of the Evoque has managed to sell? Model year 2014 versions are available from november available in the Netherlands. If you happen to want to know, the colour that this Evoque has been painted is called Zanzibar Bronze.
